Eker & Schaap landschapsarchitectuur is an Amsterdam based office for landscape architecture and urbanism. Set up in 1996, the office works on a wide range of projects. Love for the ordinary converted us into modest designers. Our projects are clear and compelling in the outlines, while open and free in their content. This means that we regularily refrain from designing; creating space for the imagination, spontaneous development and changing use over time.
As projects are being elaborated in multidisciplinairy teams, we are contineously provoked to look further than the sometimes narrow outlines of our profession. The result is inspired, innovative solutions, which mold themselves to the constrains of day to day execution.
